I'm no expert, I'm not a trained chef, I just like to get in the kitchen and make up stuff. Mostly I like to start with a good recipe I read somewhere and then change it to match my tastes. Texas Orange Cake

Cake:
1 box yellow cake mix
4 eggs
1/2 c vegetable oil
11 oz mandarin oranges w/ juice

1. Beat eggs, oil, and oranges together. Add cake mix. Beat until thick
2. Bake in greased 9X13 for 35-45 at 350, cool completely

Topping:
1 lg Vanilla instant pudding
15 oz crushed pineapple and juice
1/2 cup half and half
12 oz cool whip

3. Mix pudding and pineapple, beat until thick
4. Add half and half and beat again.
5. Place this mixture over the cooled cake
6. Cover with Cool Whip (sprinkle with coconut if you like)
7. Refrigerate until ready to eat.
